How to Activate Samsung VXT and Assign Licenses to a Workspace

Before You Start


✅ Make sure you have received your Samsung VXT activation code (a 6-digit alphanumeric code from Samsung after purchase).
✅ Ensure you have a Samsung Account with Admin or Owner permissions on your VXT workspace.
✅ Access the VXT CMS through your preferred web browser.


Step 1: Log in to the Samsung VXT CMS

1. Open your preferred web browser.
2. Visit the Samsung VXT portal: vxt.samsung.com
3. Click Log In.
4. Enter your Samsung Account email and password.
5. Click Sign In.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Plan Settings

1. Once logged in, look for the Profile icon (top right).
2. Click Settings.
3. From the submenu, click Plan.
4. The Plan page will show your current subscription, licenses, and activation options.


Step 3: Redeem Your Activation Code

1. On the Plan page, locate and click the button or link that says “Enter Activation Code”.
2. A pop-up or input box will appear.
3. Carefully enter your 6-character activation code into the provided field.
4. Double-check the code for typos.
5. Click Confirm or Activate.
6. Wait for a confirmation message stating that your code has been successfully redeemed.
7. Your license total count should now reflect the newly added licenses.


Step 4: Assign Licenses to Your Workspace

1. Still on the Plan page, scroll down to the License Allocation section.
2. Find your Workspace name in the list (likely your company or location name).
3. In the Allocated column, click into the number field.
4. Type the number of licenses you want to assign (e.g., 1 for one TV).
5. Click Save or Confirm after entering the number.
6. Ensure that the Allocated, Used, Available columns now reflect the assigned licenses. For example:
• Allocated: 1
• Used: 0
• Available: 1


Step 5: Verify Your Allocation

1. Navigate back to Settings > Workspace.
2. Confirm the correct workspace shows the updated license allocation (e.g., 1 allocated, 0 used).
3. You’re now ready to pair your Samsung screen to this workspace.
